28 weeks pregnant, I was recommended by a friend to doctor Israel and he made me really uncomfortable, I thought that would change, it didn't. They had my blood taken twice because it wasn't on file the first time that they had taken it. I then received the billing for both. Extremely unhappy. At my last appointment he was rude and said whoa you've gained A LOT of weight. I had trouble holding down food and eating and then with my partners support did really well eating healthy and the right amount and exercising. He made a joke about fast food saying it'll do that to you. I snapped that we didn't even eat fast food and then he accused me of over eating!! I was getting my blood taken while he acted like the test for gestational diabetes was going to come up positive. I cried until my boyfriend poked at me and said this isn't fat, this is our baby, you're all muscle and baby so don't listen to him. I weigh 174 and am 5 foot 6, I weighed 156 to begin with and lost 11 lbs and gained it back. I swim a lot and go for walks every day. I eat healthy and had to add more calcium to my diet. Any concerns I have had or things I asked were blown off or treated like the answer was obvious. Switching to doctor Thatcher, hoping that she's a better doctor. Good luck and don't let Doctor Israel deliver your kids.

This was back in 2009 but I am furious now that I realized that Dr. Israel put me through an incredibly invasive exploratory surgery to diagnose uterine fibriods, which we already knew I had. I don't know why he did this or why he took advantage of me and my mom's lack of knowledge about less invasive diagnostics such as an SIS or MRI before performing any kind of major abdominal surgery. I was put under anesthetist and had a major operation all so he could see that I had fibriods without removing them. I think this was very dishonest and negligent of him. I have mailed a letter to his office and called him upset because of all the years I've suffered as a result of this unscrupulous doctor who performs unnecessary money making procedures, knowing that he is putting his patients at risk associated with major surgery with no benefit to the patient. In my experience many gynecologists are dishonest. They push harmful synthetic drugs without warning us of the serious dangerous life changing side effects, such as depo provera, and they perform unnecessary hysterectomies to make money all the time, and they just aren't honest people. So many doctors are swindlers like this and we patients need to be aware of our situation beforehand to let our doctors know we know and understand our condition and the options so we are not tricked into invasive options with devastating consequences. If Dr. Israel was an honest person, he would have told me and my mom that he needed to do some kind of diagnostic testing to confirm I had fibriods or whatever. He should have then planned the appropriate surgery that would have been the least invasive way to cure the problem. As a result of him not doing such, I faced many years of problems associated with my fibriods, other unscrupulous incompetence doctors and here I am still suffering many years later. I hope it was worth it, and may God have mercy because every doctor will be judged by God on whether or not they put the patient before profit or if they knowingly harmed patients for their own benefit. Doing an invasive surgery without good cause is dishonest and negligent. Shame on you Dr. Israel. If you plan to see Dr. Israel, don't let him do invasive exploratory surgery without having a dam good reason or an MRI, and don't let him give you a dangerous cancer causing synthetic form of progesterone called Depo or Lupron which will disable you permanently if you have heavy bleeding. Make him test your hormone levels, get the right diagnostics, rule out peri-menopause and thyroid issues before going under the knife to remove fibriods or edno etc. This post will remain indefinitely until he rectifies the situation and will also be copied and pasted on to every doctor review website I can find due to the seriousness of the rampant dishonesty among the majority of gynecologists. Women need to band together and stop this.

Waited 3 months to get into his office. When I finally got there waited two hours to actually see him. And they have rescheduled THREE times. One of the times they had to reschedule was in the middle of my appointment! Would not recommend! He will just waste your time.
